We now start the hectic run in to the Chelsea Flower Show which is open to the public from Tuesday 19th May to Saturday 23rd May. Hopefully we will see some of you there and others may be able to catch sight of the stand at some moment in the extensive BBC coverage of the show.
Burncoose again has an entry for the RHS Plant of the Year Competition. This is Acer palmatum ‘Golden Trompenburg’ which, as you can see here, has startling yellow new growth and leaves. Under the rules of the competition this new plant cannot be offered for sale until the show opens. We will have some plants available for sale at the show itself and will then make them available online.
You will find this stunning plant on display on our stand.
This year our stand at Chelsea Main Pavillion is a large circle covering over 80 square metres. Our theme is ‘Over the Garden Wall’ and we will be telling you all more about the key plants which will feature on the stand and how they tie into this theme in a further email in a fortnight or so.
In the meantime you will find that we have a large number of herbaceous and other plants all on special offer on our website. In the current economic situation we hope that these discounts will encourage you to take the plunge and place the order which you had been thinking about.
