    Commonly known as Rice-paper tree

    Originating from Taiwan this unusual suckering foliage plant has huge leaves which can be up to 2 feet across. New shoots and leaves have a lovely brown indumentum

      Pruning: Minimal pruning required. Prune wayward or crossing branches to maintain a healthy framework.
      When: When dormant in the late winter/early spring. Some in the summer/autumn to prevent bleeding of sap.
