    Commonly known as Spiderwort, Trinity flower

    Genus of about 65 species of creeping, trailing or tuft-forming, fibrous- or tuberous-rooted, evergreen perennials from woodland, scrub or disturbed ground in North, Central and South America.

      Hardy in most places throughout the UK even in severe winters. May not withstand open/exposed sites or central/northern locations. Plant can withstand temperatures down to -15°C (5°F)
