Now is our busy spring period - orders are being packed 6 days a week, however please remember it may be 10 days before you RECEIVE your plants.

Orders can also be collected in person from our Nurseries, or some of our shows - just tell us during the checkout process.

Palm - single-stemmed palm. Dense, terminal heads of pinnate leaves.

Hardiness Rating

Half hardy to Frost tender - Plant can withstand down to 0°C (32°F) but may well only tolerate as low as 5°C (41°F)

Preferred Location

Full Sun - bright filtered light if grown under glass
Greenhouse or Conservatory - Not the sort of plants to be grown outside where there are likely to be frosts. These plants need to be grown in a conservatory or cool greenhouse or at least brought inside for the winter - in frost-prone areas grow young specimens as houseplants.

Soil Conditions

No Preference - well drained soil. Loam based compost if grown under glass.
