      All daphnes resent transplanting.
    • Pests & Diseases
      Aphids, leaf spot, grey mould, viruses.
    • Place of origin
      Eastern Himalayas.
    • Semi-evergreen
      Keeps some of its foliage all year, and will drop some leaves as well.
      Elliptic to lance-shaped, leathery, dark-green leaves to 10cm (4in) long.
    • Greenhouse / conservatory
      Not the sort of plants to be grown outside where there are likely to be frosts. These plants need to be grown in a conservatory or cool greenhouse or at least brought inside for the winter

      Upright, rarely spreading habit. Flowers in terminal clusters of 7-15 to 1.5cm (½in) across followed by blackish-purple fruit.
