We are looking for a new member to join our busy Office Team at Burncoose Nurseries.
Burncoose is a well established small business in Cornwall, which has been providing mail order plants for over 40 years.
The role will involve responding to customer enquiries and taking orders over the phone, liaising with nursery staff and management, as well as assisting with the day to day running of the office. The applicant will need strong Social Media skills with the ability to update and refresh media content on a regular basis.
The core, day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Answering incoming customer calls, helping with enquiries and taking orders over the phone.
Managing and responding to customer enquiries via email.
Ensuring order enquiries are responded to in a timely manner.
Liaising with the Nursery team and Stockist with any stock queries.
Inputting orders using our bespoke database and ensuring data is handled accurately and in accordance with Data Protection guidelines.
Administrative support to our Trade Sales Department.
Supporting the Cashpoint Team during busy times, with general admin support and till work.
Knowledge or Experience:
Plant knowledge essential! Or a very keen interest.
Working within a busy office environment and as part of a team.
Excellent customer service skills.
Data entry and use of bespoke/database systems.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
Type of Role:
Permanent, Full Time with some weekend work on a rota basis.
Immediate start available.
