  • Evergreen - blue-green leaves with 5-7 leaflets.
  • Yellow - golden yellow

  • Dwarf shrub - Typically only grows to a maximum of one or two feet in height but there will be some exceptions. - compact, rounded, bushy shrub. umbels of 4-14 flowers 1cm (½in) long are followed by slender pods to 5cm (2in) long.
  • Hardy - average winter - Hardy through most of the UK apart from inland valleys, at altitude and central/northerly locations. May suffer foliage damage and stem dieback in harsh winters in cold gardens. Plant can withstand temperatures down to -10°C (14°F)
  • Full sun - shelter from cold drying winds.
  • Additional Features - Good to know - member of the pea family with vetch-like leaves. November flowering and sweet scent in a protected position.
