    Commonly known as Cowslip bush, Winter hazel

    Attractive fragrant yellow flowers hanging from bare branches and subtle bronze hues on the foliage enhance the attraction of this underrated member of the witch hazel family.

    Genus of up to 29 species of deciduous shrubs and small trees found in woodland and scrub in the eastern Himalayas, China, Taiwan and Japan.
