RHUBARB 'Timperley Early'

One of the earliest rhubarb varieties. Succulent vivid red stems are excellent for pies and crumbles. Will grow well in a large pot on the patio

  • Hardy - average winter - Hardy through most of the UK apart from inland valleys, at altitude and central/northerly locations. May suffer foliage damage and stem dieback in harsh winters in cold gardens. Plant can withstand temperatures down to -10°C (14°F)

  • Caution, toxic if eaten - Do not eat these plants. - leaves are toxic.
  • Additional Features - Good to know - can be ready to harvest from March. Harvest March to May. Do not pick stems in first year. .
