ABELIA x grandiflora 'Francis Mason'

  • Semi-evergreen - Keeps some of its foliage all year, and will drop some leaves as well. - in colder areas
  • Shades of pink - All shades of pink through to Carmine (red) - pink, tinged white
  • Height - 1.5m (5ft)
  • Spread - 2m (6½ft)
  • Medium shrub - Typically grow to around 4-6 feet in height - rounded shrub with arching branches. Produces funnel-shaped flowers 2cm (¾in) long from axillary cymes and in terminal panicles
  • Hardy - cold winter - Hardy in most places throughout the UK even in severe winters. May not withstand open/exposed sites or central/northern locations. Plant can withstand temperatures down to -15°C (5°F)
