An excellent foliage plant for the margins of pools or for a bog garden. Bright green leaves vertically striped white and cream

  • Semi-evergreen - Keeps some of its foliage all year, and will drop some leaves as well. - fans of 2-ranked, linear, glossy leaves 8-30cm (3-12in) long
  • Height - 25cm (10in)
  • Spread - 15cm (6in)
  • Herbaceous - Early in the year, typically January till end of March, herbaceous plants might be supplied in 9cm pots to ensure timely despatch. - aquatic perennial. Produces insignificant flowers 5-7cm (2-3in) long resembling small horns.
  • Hardy - average winter - Hardy through most of the UK apart from inland valleys, at altitude and central/northerly locations. May suffer foliage damage and stem dieback in harsh winters in cold gardens. Plant can withstand temperatures down to -10°C (14°F)
