    ZALUZIANSKYA

    Genus of about 55 species of sticky, low-growing annuals and evergreen perennials and subshrubs from grassland and rocky slopes in South Africa.

    They are grown for their spikes of salverform, heavily scented flowers and suit a sunny border or alpine house.

    • Good to know
      Requires sharply drained, humus-rich soil in full sun. Water freely when in growth but keep barely moist through winter
    • Evergreen
    • Alpine or rock plant
      These plants prefer well drained soil and are generally dwarf in habit.
    • Herbaceous
      Early in the year, typically January till end of March, herbaceous plants might be supplied in 9cm pots to ensure timely despatch.
