    Commonly known as Japanese zelkova, Keaki

    Large tree of wide spreading habit with serrated leaves and good autumn colour

    • Pests & Diseases
      horse-chestnut scale, bacterial canker, Dutch elm disease
    • Place of origin
      South Korea, Japan, Taiwan
    • Resistant to honey fungus
      These plants have little or few problems with honey fungus.
    • Deciduous
      tapered leaves to 12cm (5in) long with up to 16 teeth on either side are dark green becoming yellow, orange or red in autumn.

      Spreading tree with smooth grey bark peeling to reveal orange patches.
