    ASTELIA

    Silvery scales give this architectural plant a metallic sheen.

    Genus of about 25 species of evergreen perennials mostly from mountainous regions of New Guinea, Australasia, Hawaii and southern areas of South America.

    Growing in boggy, peaty areas they form large clumps.
