6th January 2021. In line with the current government lockdown rules, Burncoose Nurseries is closed to visitors. However at present we are able to offer click and collect to local customers. This will be weekdays only, not weekends. Mail order is continuing as normal. However please allow extra time for the couriers to deliver, once despatched from us. Sorry to say that some depots are experiencing high volumes of traffic, also staff shortages.

A new introduction with pale yellow flowers

 

  • Yellow - pale yellow
  • Height - 60cm (24in)
  • Spread - 45cm (18in)
  • Herb - buttercup-like, clump-forming perennial with 5-lobed, toothed, glossy basal leaves 18cm (7in) long, with lance-shaped lobes divided into toothed segments. Produces flowers 2.5-6cm (1-2½in) across with darker yellow stamens
  • Very hardy - Hardy in the severest continental climates including exposed upland locations in the UK. Plant can withstand temperatures < -20 (-4°F)
  • Full sun
  • Partial shade
  • Additional Features - Good to know - - can be grown in a bog garden or beside a stream or pond. Stems can be cut back hard after first flush to prolong flowering
