COPROSMA

In the coffee family and shares the attractive shiny leaves. A good subject for a "neat and tidy" garden.

Genus of about 90 species of evergren shrubs and small trees found in forest, swamp, grassland and rocky areas from sea level to mountainous regions from Indonesia to Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific islands.

  • Evergreen - shrubs and small trees with simple, linear to rounded, often leathery leaves. Grown for their attractive foliage in shades of green, purple and brown. Succulent berries are produced where plants of both sexes are grown. Flowers are inconspicuous.
