  • Deciduous - large, broadly oval, dull, mid-green leaves 8-18cm (3-7in) long with 3 lobes.
  • Green - greenish yellow
  • Height - 20m (70ft)

  • Tree - very large with dense oval to rounded crown. Produces flowers in upright corymbs
  • Hardy - very cold winter - Hardy in all of UK and northern Europe. Plant can possibly withstand temperatures down to -20°C (-4°F)

  • Additional Features - Good to know - with Black maple, A. nigrum, the tree for maple syrup. Wildlife plant - nectar and pollen for insects.
